The ADL diversion nonwoven layer lies between the top layer and absorbent core, accelerating liquid diffusion, guiding fluid into the core, and reducing rewet for better dryness. Most hygiene products use soft hot-air nonwovens for these layers, made from ES bicomponent fibers (PP/PE, PET/PE) via carding and thermal bonding. ES fibers have core-sheath or symmetric structures; thermal bonding melts low-melting components to form point bonds, creating a stable 3D structure with high resilience, softness, and excellent liquid transport.
